Grand Cucheron - 1188 m

The Col du Grand Cucheron (1188 m), at the northern end of the Belledonne Range, provides a point of passage between the Les Huiles and Maurienne Valleys. It offers an unbeatable view of the Lauzière Mountains. In the local dialect, Cucheron means butte, hill, or rounded summit.

The Grand Cucheron was included in the Tour de France in 1998.
